HAEIN YUN

Hello! My name is Tiffany and I was an AmeriCorps VISTA for SafeRxOC from 2019 to 2020. I graduated from UCI in 2018 as a Public Health Sciences major and began working with SafeRxOC shortly after. My most memorable experience was implementing the CA Bridge Program with VISTA and the UCI Medical Center. Serving in the VISTA program was a great way to make an impact in the community at the public health level. Truly a memorable experience!

Hi! My name is Cassy & I am an AmeriCorps VISTA from Orange County, CA. Learning about the Opioid Epidemic during my undergraduate motivated me to find out how I could mitigate its effects on my community. I graduated from UC Irvine with a major in Neurobiology in 2018. In my free time I enjoy listening to crime podcasts, reading, and watching my kids' sports games. My future plans include completing a Masters degree in Pharmacology at UCI.

Hello! My name is Preet and I was an AmeriCorps VISTA for SafeRxOC from 2019-2020. I graduated from UCI twice: in 2015 with a B.S. in Human Biology and in 2017 with a M.S. in Biomedical and Translational Science. My most meaningful experience as an AmeriCorps VISTA was assisting with x-waiver licensing training sessions, which increased the number of providers in Orange County who can prescribe buprenorphine to patients in opioid withdrawal. I am currently an osteopathic medical student (OMS-III) at Midwestern University - Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and excited to start clinical rotations soon!

Hello! My name is Holly and I graduated from UCI with a B.S. in Biology in 2020. I was in EMRAP for three years during my undergraduate. In EMRAP, I worked with Dr. BC and Dr. Cisneros as a liaison for the Food Insecurity study. I was also involved in the powerlifting team, CampMed, Global Medical Training, and IMED at UCI. During my gap years, I was a VISTA for both the Orange County and Santa Clara County coalitions. I have greatly enjoyed the time I have spent working with the community and medical professionals to help control the opioid epidemic. Currently, I am applying to medical schools!

Hello! My name is Zaynab and I am an AmeriCorps VISTA. I majored in Human Biology at UC Irvine, and just recently graduated in 2022. My work with SafeRxOC started with seeing the detriments of the opioid epidemic on my community as well as impacts that can be made towards change. In my free time, I love to read, hike, and find nice coffee shops to just relax in. In the future, I hope to become a doctor and continue working within my community!
